Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g sweet cherries
  • 500 ml vodka
  • 150 g brown sugar

Instructions

Wash and dry the cherries. Trim the stems to about 3 cm. Layer them with the sugar in a tall glass and pour over the vodka. Seal the jar and let it rest in a cool place for at least 8 weeks. They are said to work wonders after hearty meals. In Russia, it’s said that people eat one cherry for every degree below zero; after that, no one will be cold!
