Mother Bear's Ham – Lemon – Schnitzel

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 breaded schnitzels
  • 150 g bacon or Black Forest ham, thinly sliced
  • 1 gr. can/n condensed milk (10% fat)
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • Oil or margarine for frying
  • Parsley, fresh or dried
  • some cream, maybe

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

with creamy sauce, spicy and refined

Fry the schnitzels until crispy. Cut the bacon or Black Forest ham into strips and fry in a little oil or margarine. Deglaze with the condensed milk, bring gently to a boil, and add the juice of one lemon, stirring constantly to prevent burning. No seasoning is necessary; the ham adds enough flavor. Then simmer gently until creamy. The lemon will curdle the milk a little, but that’s intentional. If desired, you can add a dash of cream for an even creamier finish. Finally, stir in chopped parsley (fresh or dried) and serve with the schnitzels. We love it with green peas and fries, but croquettes or hash browns are also delicious. This sauce also goes great with unbreaded meat, such as turkey or chicken breast.
