Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 packs of fish (matjes)
  • 1 apple, sour (Boskop)
  • 3 eggs, boiled
  • 1 cup of natural yogurt
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 3 tbsp Miracle Whip
  • 3 m.-large gherkins
  • 1 onion(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Vinegar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Total time approx. 6 hours 30 minutes

Rinse the fish under warm running water and dice. Dice the apple, cucumber, and eggs. Thinly slice the onions. Mix the ingredients together and pour over a dash of cucumber juice. Mix 2-3 tablespoons of Miracle Whip, yogurt, and cream. Season with salt and pepper and add a small dash of vinegar. Pour the sauce over the ingredients, mix, and let stand overnight. This dish goes best with boiled potatoes.
