Spinach fish fillets

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 fish fillet(s), firm, frozen – redfish or other
  • 400 g spinach, frozen
  • 150 g cheese (Emmental), grated
  • 150g mozzarella
  • 150 g Parmesan
  • 150g Gorgonzola
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • salt and pepper
  • ¼ liter cream
  • 1 pinch(s) nutmeg, grated
  • 1 butter, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Briefly rinse frozen fish fillets under cold water. Drizzle with lemon juice. Allow to absorb slightly. Warm the spinach with a little water. Stir in the cream and slowly add the four cheeses. Stir until evenly blended. Season with salt (if necessary) and nutmeg. Season the fillets with salt and pepper and lightly fry them in butter on both sides. Place in a shallow, ovenproof dish. Spread the spinach and cheese mixture on top and cook in the oven at 150°C (fan oven – 3rd rack from the top) for 50 minutes. Serve with boiled potatoes or tagliatelle.
