Mozzarella – anchovies – crostini

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can of anchovy fillet(s) in oil (50 g)
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • 1 pack of mozzarella (125 g)
  • 4 slices of white bread or toast
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • oregano
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Drain the anchovy fillets thoroughly on kitchen paper and halve them lengthwise. Wash the tomatoes, quarter them, remove the seeds, and cut into thin wedges. Halve the mozzarella and cut into thin slices. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet greased with olive oil and drizzle with olive oil. Top the bread with the mozzarella slices, season with oregano and pepper, and top with the anchovies and tomatoes. Bake on the middle rack for about 10 minutes, then serve immediately.
