Muffin – raisin rolls

Ingredients for 24 servings:

  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 500 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 500 g flour
  • 100 g butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 100 g raisins

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

ideal for picnics and as a snack between meals

Make a yeast dough from milk, yeast, and flour. Cover and let it rise in a warm place for 15 minutes. Add the butter, eggs, and sugar to the dough and mix well. Wash the raisins, dust them with a little flour, and fold them into the batter. Half-fill greased muffin cups with batter and let them rise in a warm place for another 20 minutes. Then bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 25 minutes. Turn out onto a wire rack to cool. Brush with butter and serve! Tip: This recipe can easily be halved!
