Onion cream dip

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g cream cheese
  • 200 g mascarpone
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 3 tbsp fried onions
  • 1 tbsp oil (garlic oil)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, squeezed
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • some butter
  • possibly milk, to stir until smooth

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Blend the cream cheese and mascarpone with 1 tablespoon of garlic oil until smooth. Finely chop the onion and set aside about half. Briefly sauté the remaining half with the crushed garlic in a saucepan with a little butter. Then mix into the cream along with the finely chopped raw onions and the fried onions until spreadable. If desired, add milk to smooth the mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fried onions before serving. Serve with crackers or baguette.
