Muffins – basic recipe

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 260 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp spice(s) (cinnamon, lemon peel, etc.)
  • 60 g nuts, raisins or other
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 140 g sugar
  • 80 g oil or 250 g butter
  • 250 g milk, buttermilk or similar
  • 250 g fruit

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

First, mix the dry ingredients together. Then, mix the wet ingredients together. Stir everything together gently, without overmixing. Pour into a muffin tin lined with paper baking cups and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C on the middle rack for 20-25 minutes.
