Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 120 g margarine
  • 160 g sugar
  • 260 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 280 ml milk

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. In another bowl, cream together butter, sugar, eggs, and milk. Add the flour mixture and stir in. Bake for 20 minutes. Variation 1: with chocolate flakes (or chocolate drops). Variation 2: with cocoa powder, clove powder (a very small amount), a little cinnamon or cappuccino powder, cocoa powder. Variation 3: with fruit (frozen cranberries or small apple pieces).
