Muffins – basic recipe with wholemeal flour

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 2 cups of natural yogurt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups of oil
  • 6 cups flour, wholemeal flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 6 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. Combine the egg yolks, sugar, yogurt, oil, and vanilla sugar. Add the egg whites and flour with the baking powder to the egg mixture and gently fold in. Fill into muffin cups. Preheat oven to 150°C (300°F) and bake for about 15-20 minutes (test with a toothpick). Use the yogurt cups for measuring.
