Mulled gin with cranberry juice and maple syrup

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 ml cranberry juice
  • 8 cloves, approx.
  • 8 allspice berries, approx.
  • n. B. Star anise, approx. 1/2 – 1
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • n. B. Gin, approx. 40 – 80 ml

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Heat the cranberry juice and spices in a saucepan, but do not boil, and let it steep on the turned-off stovetop for about 20 minutes. Return the juice to the heat and discard the spices. Add maple syrup and gin to taste, then pour into mugs or heatproof glasses and serve hot.
