Mulled wine made from red wine

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ¾ liter red wine, good quality
  • 1 pinch of cardamom, ground
  • 1 pinch of ground ginger
  • 4 star anise
  • 8 cloves
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon (Ceylon cinnamon), broken
  • 1 apple – slice, dried, possibly fresh
  • 1 orange(s), untreated, a piece of peel
  • n. B. sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

own production, no industrial liquor

Heat the red wine. And when I say heat, I mean heat, not boil! Add the spices and let it steep for 10 minutes. Add sugar to taste—not rock candy! Serve and drink hot.
