Mulled wine with currant juice

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 ml red wine, dark and strong, e.g. Dornfelder
  • 100 ml currant juice
  • 80 g brown sugar
  • 1 orange(s), untreated
  • 1 lemon(s), untreated
  • 2 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 5 cloves

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

very tasty and easy to prepare

Heat the red wine with the currant juice, sugar, orange and lemon juice and zest, cinnamon sticks, and cloves. Let it steep for a maximum of 15 minutes, then strain through a sieve. Simply delicious and super easy!
