Mushroom Bruschetta

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 ciabatta bread
  • 2 tbsp oil (extra virgin olive oil)
  • 2 tbsp Italian herbs
  • 4 mushrooms
  • 125g mozzarella
  • Salt
  • Pepper, from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Slice the ciabatta bread and place it on a baking sheet. Clean (do not wash!) and dice the mushrooms. Add oil, herbs, pepper, and salt to the mushrooms and season to taste. Spread the mushroom mixture over the bread slices and sprinkle with diced mozzarella. Bake in the oven until the mozzarella begins to melt.
