Mushroom cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g mushrooms
  • 100 g bacon
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground
  • 150 g crème fraîche
  • 125 ml whipped cream
  • 80 g Parmesan, grated
  • 2 tbsp chives, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp basil, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash the mushrooms, pat dry, and slice. Cut the bacon into strips and finely dice the onion and garlic. Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the bacon strips along with the onion and garlic. Stir in the mushrooms and sauté while stirring. When the liquid has almost evaporated, season with salt and pepper. Mix the crème fraîche with the cream and Parmesan cheese, add to the mushrooms, and bring to a boil while stirring. Then stir in the herbs and season with salt and pepper. Any type of pasta goes well with this dish.
