Minced meat sauce for pasta

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 1 large onion(s), finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 can of mushrooms
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 200 ml boiling water (one cup)
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 1 tbsp broth, instant
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp mustard (mild)
  • 1 cup(s) cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

our favorite sauce

Sauté the first four ingredients in a pan in 2 tablespoons of oil (you can cook the pasta in the meantime), add the ground beef, and continue to sauté. After about 15 minutes, add water, season, and simmer gently for another 10 minutes. Season with mustard. Serve the pasta (500 grams) with the sauce and some grated cheese. Everyone has their own way of making the meat sauce; this is mine.
