Mushroom – leek – cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 slice(s) ham, (smoked) or bacon
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • 4 spring onions
  • 200 g cream
  • some parsley
  • possibly oil if needed

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Sauce for meat, pasta, potatoes or rice

Wash the mushrooms and spring onions. Slice the mushrooms, dice the ham, and cut the spring onions into rings, separating the light, full rings from the green ones. Sauté the ham, mushrooms, and light spring onion rings vigorously, using a little oil if necessary. Deglaze with a dash of cream and reduce the cream. Then pour in the remaining cream and reduce for about 5-10 minutes, depending on the desired consistency. Then add the green spring onion rings and let them simmer for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and serve. This sauce goes well with meat, pasta, potatoes, or rice.
