Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g mushrooms
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • 1 shot of dry white wine
  • 200 g processed cheese, e.g. cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Cut the chives into small rolls and finely chop the parsley. Clean and quarter the mushrooms, dice the onion, and fry in oil. Shake the flour with some of the milk in a tightly sealed jar until the ingredients are well combined. Pour the mixture and the remaining milk over the mushrooms. Dissolve the cream cheese in the sauce. Season to taste with salt, pepper, crushed garlic, and white wine. Finally, fold in the chives and parsley. Add a squeeze of lemon, if desired. Serve with baguette or hash browns. Variation: Replace the cream cheese and flour-milk mixture with Gorgonzola and sour cream.
