Mushroom sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 500 g mushrooms
  • Paprika powder
  • 250 ml vegetable stock
  • 125 g sour cream
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 bunch of parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Heat the butter. Peel and dice the garlic cloves. Peel and dice the onion. Sauté the garlic and onion in the butter. Trim and slice the mushrooms. Add them to the onion and garlic and fry briefly. Season with paprika. Pour in the vegetable stock and reduce by half over high heat. Stir in the sour cream and season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Wash, dry, and finely chop the parsley. Add half to the sauce and sprinkle the rest on top.
