My simple Potato Pan

The perfect my simple potato pan recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 5 medium sized Potatoes
  • 2 Onions
  • 75 g Streaky bacon
  • 1 bunch Fresh smooth parsley
  • 2 tablespoon Sunflower oil
  • 2 Pinches Salt and pepper
  1. Preparation: cut the peeled potatoes into sticks (like french fries); then pat dry in a kitchen towel or between paper towels. Roughly dice the bacon and onions and chop the parsley.
  2. Preparation 2: heat the oil in a large pan and fry the raw potato sticks over a high heat for about 5 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally, but do not turn them until they are browned on the underside; then sprinkle with the bacon and onions and sizzle for another 5 minutes – now you can turn it over from time to time.
  3. Scatter pepper and salt on top, put a lid on the pan and continue frying the dish over a mild heat for another 5 minutes, shaking the pan every now and then so that nothing sticks. Season to taste and serve sprinkled with the parsley.
  4. My “Potato Casanova” loves this simple dish! Today I served it with mild cucumber slices and a portion of “Schwedenhappen”, but you can also enjoy it with many other things.
  5. Bon appetit !!
