- 200 g dark chocolate
- 125 g butter
- 5 eggs, separated
- 125 g sugar
- 60 g almond(s), ground

Chocolate cake from Nancy
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius (320 degrees Fahrenheit). Break the chocolate into small pieces and gently melt it with the butter in a bowl over a pan of simmering water. The chocolate mixture should not be hot. Now stir in the egg yolks and half of the sugar. Beat the egg whites until stiff, gradually adding the remaining sugar. Stir the almonds into the chocolate mixture and fold in 1/3 of the egg whites. Add this mixture to the remaining egg whites and gently stir in. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan and bake for about 45 minutes.
