Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 bell peppers, yellow and red
  • 240 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 4 spring onions
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 80 g Basmati
  • salt water
  • 5 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce, sweet
  • 1 tsp sambal oelek
  • 1 egg(s), beaten
  • 1 tsp five-spice powder
  • salt and pepper

Cook the rice in twice the amount of salted water and set aside. Dice the onion and chop the garlic. Slice the spring onions into rings and the bell peppers into strips, and cut the meat into bite-sized pieces. Heat the oil in a wok or large pan and sauté the onion until translucent. Add the garlic and meat and fry. Stir in the spring onion, bell peppers, and rice and fry briefly. Season with soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, sambal oelek, five-spice powder, salt, and pepper. Finally, crack the egg over the mixture and stir until set.
