Natural schnitzel à la minute with mixed vegetables and rice

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 slice(s) pork (salmon meat)
  • 1 bag of rice
  • Salt and pepper from the mill
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • some olive oil and sunflower oil (half each) for frying
  • Mixed vegetables, frozen, quantity as required
  • some butter for the vegetables

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Bring water with a little salt for rice to a boil and cook the rice until al dente. Meanwhile, cook the vegetables in a little water in the microwave until al dente. Then stir in a little butter and salt. When the rice is ready, remove it and drain. Keep warm. Cut the salmon into thumb-thick slices. Season with pepper, salt, and paprika. Press the spices down firmly. Heat oil in a pan and fry the meat slices on both sides. Remove the meat and keep warm. Remove the rice from the bag and add it to the frying fat. Stir thoroughly so that the rice browns evenly. Also add the meat juices from the warm schnitzels. Serve everything together on plates.
