Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 gr. can/n sauerkraut (wine)
  • 2 large onions
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 bell peppers
  • 100 g paprika paste
  • 1 tsp, heaped caraway powder
  • 150 ml cream (soy cream)
  • 0.38 liters of soup seasoning, from the DB or broth
  • Salt
  • 150 g bacon
  • 35 g paprika powder

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

In a large pot, sauté the finely chopped onions in oil. Dice the bacon, chop the garlic, and add both to the onions. After about 10 minutes, stir in the paprika paste and broth, then add the sauerkraut, the sliced ​​bell peppers, and all the other ingredients except the soy cream. Simmer over low heat for a good 40 minutes. Season again if necessary, then stir in the soy cream or heavy cream. Serve with roasted meat and fried potatoes.
