Nicoise's whole wheat pasta casserole

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g pasta (wholemeal pasta)
  • 450 g turkey breast
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 5 tbsp milk (canned milk), skim
  • 1 ball(s) of light mozzarella
  • 50 g Parmesan
  • ½ bunch chives
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 jar mushrooms
  • curry powder
  • Paprika powder, sweet

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the pasta until al dente and drain. Dice the meat and finely chop the onion and garlic. Sauté the onion and garlic in a pan. Add the meat and season well with salt, pepper, curry powder, and paprika. Fry until well browned. Then add the mushrooms and half of the mushroom liquid and bring to a boil. Add the canned milk. Finely chop the mozzarella and mix well with the pasta and meat. Place everything in a shallow baking dish and sprinkle with chives and Parmesan cheese. Bake the casserole in the oven at 220°C for 20-25 minutes, until the surface is nice and crispy. Serve with a green salad.
