Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 16 bratwursts (Nuremberg bratwursts)
- 1 vegetable onion(s)
- 500 g tomatoes, pureed
- 6 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp paprika powder, hot
- 1 tsp fat
- some salt and pepper
- some curry
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Fry the Nuremberg sausages in a pan with a little fat. Meanwhile, peel the onion and slice into rings. Remove the sausages from the pan and keep warm. Fry the onion rings in the fat until soft and translucent. Deglaze with the passata and add the ketchup. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika to taste. Simmer the sauce until slightly thickened. Thread the sausages onto four shish kebab skewers, warming them a little longer in the sauce if necessary. Arrange the skewers on plates, pour the sauce over them, and sprinkle with curry. I recommend white bread or French fries as a side dish.
