Nuremberg Grilled Sausages As Currywurst

The perfect nuremberg grilled sausages as currywurst recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 pack Nuremberg grilled sausages 14 pieces / 300 g (here: from ALDI Nord)
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 200 ml Curry spice ketchup hot
  • 5 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 100 ml Orange juice
  • 5 tbsp Coke
  • 3 tbsp Mild curry powder
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp Clear granular broth
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Sambal oelek
  • 1 Strong pinch of salt
  • 2 Mint leaves for garnish
  1. Fry the Nuremberg grilled sausages in a pan with oil (2 tbsp) on all sides until golden-brown and remove from the pan. Put all the ingredients for the sauce (spicy curry ketchup, tomato paste, orange juice, Coca Cola, mild curry powder, sweet paprika, clear granular broth, sugar, sambal oelek and salt) in the frying pan, stir well and bring to the boil. Serve the Nuremberg sausages with the sauce, garnished with a mint leaf. Baguette or bread rolls are enough.
