Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ¼ flatbread(s)
  • 3 Nuremberg bratwursts
  • 50 g tomatoes
  • 50 g cucumber(s)
  • 50 g onion(s)
  • 50 ml tzatziki
  • 50 ml Ajvar
  • 10 ml vegetable oil
  • 1 g salt
  • ½ g pepper
  • ½ g oregano, shredded
  • ½ g chili flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Quarter the flatbread and cut a pocket into it. Bake in an oven preheated to 150°C (top/bottom heat) on the middle rack for about 3 minutes. Cut the Nuremberg sausages diagonally into 2.5 mm thick slices and fry in a non-stick pan with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil until browned, like kebab strips from a rotisserie. Cut the tomato and cucumber into 5 mm cubes, season the tomato pieces with salt and pepper. Salt the cucumber pieces. Peel the onion and thinly slice it. Spread ajvar on one side of the warmed flatbread and tzatziki on the other. Place the browned sausage strips inside. Place the tomatoes and cucumber on top, then the onion on top. Garnish with oregano and/or chili flakes. Especially delicious with homemade flatbread and homemade tzatziki.
