Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 6 eggs
- 250 g sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- Salt
- 8 cl rum
- 400 g hazelnuts, ground
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 125 g powdered sugar
- 2 cl rum
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Beat the eggs and sugar until frothy, then gradually add all the other ingredients. Pour the batter into a well-greased and breadcrumb-coated loaf pan. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and bake for 55-65 minutes. Mix the powdered sugar and rum and spread over the cooled cake as a glaze. The cake will only taste truly moist and delicious after 1-2 days. The cake requires no fat.
