Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g margarine
  • 300 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 7 eggs
  • 410 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 pack of almonds, chopped or almond slivers
  • 1 pack of dark chocolate coating, cut into fine strips or 2 packs of grated chocolate
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Using a hand mixer, combine the margarine with the sugar and vanilla sugar, then gradually add the eggs. Beat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then gradually add the flour and baking powder while stirring, finally folding in the almond flakes and chocolate. Butter a cake pan and dust with breadcrumbs, pour in the batter, and bake at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 1 hour.
