Nut Cake with Almonds and Nougat

The perfect nut cake with almonds and nougat recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Flour
  • 150 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 50 g Ground almonds
  • 150 g Soft butter or sanella cut into small pieces
  • 50 g Nougat
  • 3 piece Eggs
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 2 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 0,5 packet Baking powder
  • 2 cl Cream liqueur
  • 50 ml Dark chocolate couverture
  • 50 g Almond leaves to sprinkle
  1. Mix the butter, sugar and eggs in the food processor until frothy. Then gradually stir in the hazelnuts, almonds, nougat, milk, cream liqueur, flour and baking powder. Spread the dough in a greased baking pan and bake at 160-180 degrees top and bottom heat for 60-70 minutes. Let it cool down and spread it with dark chocolate or whole milk couverture. Finally sprinkle with flaked almonds.
