Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Dry cake, super long fresh and durable, can also be transformed into a cake
Mix the butter and sugar, gradually beat in the eggs, then add the rum (1 tbsp, for example, depending on your taste and intensity). Add the chocolate and nuts, then sift the flour and baking powder over it and mix well. Pour into a cake tin of your choice. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 50 minutes. Tips: Depending on your taste, you can use just ground nuts or very finely grated chocolate. I personally prefer chopped nuts and chocolate as I find the cake tastier that way. This cake tastes even better after a few days. I always bake double the recipe so that the family has something extra to take to school or work every day. I have also made this cake as a tart. Simply cut it in half and fill it with cream. Sour cherries also taste great with it.
