Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 130 g margarine
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 300 g flour
  • 200 g apricot jam
  • 250 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 200 g hazelnuts (or almonds), ground
  • 200 g almond flakes
  • 200 g dark chocolate coating (or quick microwave glaze)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

alternatively with almonds – for allergy sufferers, makes about 32 biscuits

Make a dough from the first 6 ingredients and spread it on a baking sheet lined with paper. Spread the jam over the dough. Melt the butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar in a saucepan until the sugar is dissolved. Add the water, almonds, and hazelnuts, stir, and spread the mixture over the dough. Bake at 150°C for 25-30 minutes. Once cooled, cut into triangles as desired (I always make very small 5 x 5 cm squares, which I then halve again—small portions are always very grateful!). Heat the chocolate coating in a bain-marie (or use glaze in the microwave) and dip the corners in.
