Nut puff pastry parcels

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g puff pastry from the refrigerated section, rolled out
  • 60 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 60 g marzipan
  • possibly sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix the marzipan with a little water until smooth, then stir in the hazelnuts. If the mixture is too stiff, add a little more water. Cut the puff pastry into 5 x 5 cm squares. Brush the squares with a little water. Using a piping bag, pipe a little nut mixture into the center of each square. Fold one corner over the other and press the open sides together. Brush the triangles with water and roll in sugar, if desired. Place on a baking sheet and place in the oven. Baking time: approx. 15 minutes at 220°C.
