Quick rice pan

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 375 g rice (or simply 2 boil-in-the-bag rice)
  • 300 g mixed vegetables, frozen (e.g. buttered vegetables)
  • 1 small can of Bockwurst
  • herb butter
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with frankfurters

Cook the rice in salted water until tender (I prefer this recipe with boil-in-the-bag rice). Thaw the frozen vegetable mixture in a large pan and slice the frankfurters (like for a stew). Add the sausage slices and herb butter to the vegetables and fry lightly. Add the cooked rice to the vegetable and sausage mixture and season with salt and pepper, if desired (since the herb butter is already spicy, be careful with the salt). Briefly roast and you’re done!
