Nutella cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g margarine
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 250 g flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 60 ml milk
  • 1 jar cherry(s) (230 – 370 g), drained
  • 3 tbsp Nutella
  • 250 g quark, 20% fat
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 300 ml cream
  • 1 pack of cream stiffener
  • 1 pack of cake glaze, red

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 5 minutes

Mix the margarine, sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, flour, baking powder, and milk thoroughly. Pour 2/3 of the mixture into a prepared springform pan. Arrange the cherries on top. Mix the Nutella into the remaining batter and spread it on top of the cherries. Bake in a preheated oven at 150-175°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30-40 minutes. Mix the quark with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Whip the cream with the cream stiffener and fold it into the quark mixture. Pour the mixture onto the base. Prepare the glaze according to the instructions and then cover the cake with it.
