Nutella yogurt cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 ½ tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 g natural yogurt, 0.1% fat
  • 5 tbsp, heaped Nutella
  • Butter for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan assisted). Mix the softened butter and sugar well with a hand mixer. Slowly add the flour until it forms a smooth mixture. Also stir in the baking powder and vanilla sugar. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs and natural yogurt. Once well blended, add it to the mixture and continue mixing until the batter becomes creamy. Now mix in 1 heaped tablespoon of Nutella until the batter has changed color. Then grease the dish and pour in the batter. Now drop 4 heaped tablespoons of Nutella into the batter in various places. Then use a skewer to swirl it around a few times so that the Nutella is distributed but not mixed in. Then bake in the oven for approx. 50-60 minutes, checking every 5 minutes after 40 minutes. Serve as soon as it is warm, but no longer hot. The cake tastes especially delicious with homemade whipped cream, either lightly sweetened or not sweetened at all.
