Oat patties

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g oat flakes, fine
  • 300 ml water
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 ½ tbsp mustard

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

vegan, quick, easy, delicious

Briefly fry the onions in a large pot. Combine all ingredients except the water. Bring the water to a boil and add it. Mix everything thoroughly. Heat a pan with a little vegetable oil. Form a patty from a heaped tablespoon of the batter and fry it in the pan on both sides. If the patty sticks to the bottom of the pan or can’t be turned, stir in more oatmeal (or flour) to the batter.
