Oatmeal Almond Leaves

The perfect oatmeal almond leaves recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 150 g Soft butter
  • 1 Vanilla pod pulp
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 250 g Sugar brown
  • 100 g Crunchy oatmeal
  • 75 g Almond flakes
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 50 g Flour
  • 0,25 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 Egg
  1. Melt the butter, stir in the vanilla pulp. Then add salt, sugar and oat flakes and stir everything well. Remove from heat and let rest for approx. 10 minutes.
  2. Then add the flaked almonds, honey, flour, baking powder and the egg and knead everything together well.
  3. Preheat the oven to 170 °.
  4. Place small portions with a teaspoon at least 6 cm apart on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Press a little flat.
  5. Bake the cookies on the middle shelf for approx. 8 minutes. The edges should turn crispy brown.
  6. Take the tray out of the oven and shape the biscuits while they are still hot with a glass, which has a larger diameter than the biscuits, using circular movements.
  7. Put the baking paper to cool down on a rack and let it set. Carefully remove them from the paper and keep them dry to keep them crispy. They are quite fragile, but meeeeeeeega delicious
