Oatmeal Apple Crumble

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 apples
  • 150 ml applesauce
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 175 g oat flakes
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

American dessert

Peel, core, and thinly slice the apples. Place them in a greased loaf pan and spread with the applesauce. Mix the remaining ingredients, except for the margarine, until crumbly and spread over the apples. Spread the margarine in small flakes on top and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes, until the crust is crispy. It tastes especially good with vanilla ice cream.
