Oatmeal patties

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ¾ liter meat broth, hot
  • 200 g oat flakes
  • Salt and pepper, white
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 150 g mushrooms, can
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 40 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Bring the meat broth to a boil in a saucepan, add the oatmeal. Simmer until thickened, about 15 minutes. Stir occasionally. Season with salt and pepper. Wash the parsley and chives and pat dry. Peel the onion. Wash the mushrooms and drain. Finely chop everything and stir into the oatmeal with the flour. Let cool. With moistened hands, form flat, meatball-sized patties (6 cm in diameter). Heat butter in a pan and fry the patties until golden brown on each side. Serve with a mixed salad.
