Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pieces of pork chop(s)
  • 3 tbsp mustard (Dijon mustard)
  • 3 onions
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 150 g crème fraîche
  • ½ tsp curry powder
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

with mustard sauce

Peel the onions and dice them into small cubes. Rinse the pork chops under running water and pat dry. Brush with Dijon mustard (about 1.5 tsp) and season with salt and pepper. Arrange the prepared onions on top. Press the onions firmly into the meat. Roast the chops in a preheated oven on a greased baking sheet or, for practicality, on aluminum foil at about 250°C for 30-35 minutes. For the mustard sauce: Mix 1.5 teaspoons of Dijon mustard with 150g of crème fraîche and the curry powder. Serve the chops with the mustard sauce. Mashed potatoes or white bread with herb butter make excellent side dishes.
