Onion-garlic-chili aioli

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp chili flakes, hot or fresh chili to taste
  • 1 shot of milk
  • 1 dash of lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • ½ liter of oil
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Peel the onion and garlic, chop them finely, and place them in a 1-liter jar. Add chili flakes or two finely chopped fresh chilies to the jar (depending on your preference). Add salt and a splash of milk. Blend everything together with a hand blender until no chunks remain. Add the oil and lemon juice and blend everything thoroughly. Depending on your desired consistency, to make the aioli thicker, either add cornstarch (for fewer calories) and continue blending, or add more oil and continue blending. Transfer the sauce to a suitable container and refrigerate. The sauce is ready to eat when cold.
