Onion puff pastry sticks

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry (frozen), rolled out, rectangular
  • 1 pack of ready-made onion soup mix
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Mix the sour cream with the onion soup. Spread the puff pastry. Spread the mixture on the bottom half. Fold the top half over the mixture. Cut into strips about 1 cm wide, twist them slightly (spirals), and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at about 180°C for about 20 minutes, until the sticks are golden brown. Tips: Whisk egg with milk and brush the sticks with it before baking; this will make them shiny and browner. Sprinkle the sticks with grated cheese before baking. Spice up the mixture with chili.
