Onion rolls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g spelt flour
  • 400 ml water
  • 1 pack of cream of tartar baking powder
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • some vegetable broth, without flavor enhancers or yeast
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil, e.g. sunflower oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

vegan, yeast-free, wheat-free, low histamine, egg-free, lactose-free

Finely chop the onion and sauté it in the vegetable oil. Add the water, season generously with the spices (just like a soup), season to taste, and simmer for 5 minutes. Then knead into a dough with the remaining ingredients. Form rolls. Place a cup of water in the oven and bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes, until nicely browned.
