Onion salad with pineapple and red beans

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 5 onions
  • 1 can pineapple
  • 1 can beans, red
  • 5 tbsp Miracle Whip
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • Tabasco

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Peel the onions and slice them into rings. Place them in a bowl, pour over 1/2 liter of hot water, and let them stand for about 5 minutes. Drain well. Mix the ingredients for the sauce, adding a little more curry and paprika powder if desired. Cut the pineapple into chunks, add them to the sauce along with the red beans and onions, and mix. To ensure the salad can marinate properly, prepare the salad a day in advance.
