Onion salad with sumac

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 onions
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sumac
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • a few stalks of flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Halve the peeled onions and slice them into rings. Season with salt and sumac and drizzle with lemon juice. Sprinkle with coarsely chopped flat-leaf parsley. Drizzle with olive oil before serving. Paired with other salads, this onion salad makes a great accompaniment to grilled fish and meat.
