Orange Brussels Sprouts
The perfect orange brussels sprouts recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 g Brussels sprouts fresh
- Salt
- 1 Orange bio
- 1 tablespoon Raisins
- 1 tablespoon Walnuts
- 1 tablespoon Clarified butter
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- Pepper
- Clean the Brussels sprouts – cut crosswise and cook in salted water until firm to the bite, drain and set aside.
- Wash the orange well, pull off some zest with a zest ripper.
- Now fillet the orange and collect the juice, pour the juice over the raisins.
- Put the walnuts in a freezer bag and roughly chop them.
- Put clarified butter and sugar in a saucepan – let it caramelize, add the orange juice with the raisins and the Brussels sprouts and let everything simmer a little.
- Add the orange fillets and season everything with salt and pepper
- Place the Brussels sprouts on a plate and spread the orange zest on top.
