Orange Bundt Cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 ml oil or butter
  • 300 g wheat flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 200 ml freshly squeezed orange juice (or 100% orange juice)
  • 2 tsp orange peel, grated (or orange peel flavoring)
  • 1 shot of orange liqueur (or rum)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Separate the eggs. Beat the egg yolks with the sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Stir in the oil. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Finally, lightly fold in the egg whites. Pour the batter into a greased and floured bundt pan (loaf pan or ring pan) and bake at 180°C (160°C fan-assisted) for about 45 minutes. Cover the cooled cake with orange glaze (mix icing sugar with orange juice and orange liqueur).
