Orange chocolate curd

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 oranges
  • 250 g quark (40%)
  • 100 ml sweet cream
  • 25 g chocolate, dark or to taste
  • 2 tbsp vanilla sugar, preferably homemade

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Whip the cream until semi-stiff. Mix the quark with the cream and vanilla sugar. Grate the chocolate (best done with a coarse nut grinder) and fold it in. Peel the oranges, cut the segments into pieces, and fold them in as well. If you’re using unsprayed oranges, you can also add a little grated zest. If you want it to go faster, you can also stir in the cream while it’s still liquid. The chocolate should be grated fresh from the block, though, and homemade vanilla sugar is nothing like the commercially produced version.
